I have resorted to bring only salads as the queue is just too long most days! I want to eat my food, warm and without a long wait!

Travelling down to the 'restaurant' area from SW4 combined with slow service in the canteen and/or long microwave ques can take up to an hour from my work day. Most days the lunch time chat revolves around the terrible management skills and organisation of the institute.
How sad is it that in a multi-million pound building with over a thousand staff members, we have only been supplied with enough microwaves to count on one hand. What is more disappointing thing is that we have to resort to an online petitions to have our voices heard!
A very SMALL and SIMPLE solution could ease a small portion of this tension and provide an atmosphere worthy of upholding the CRICK values - I know I would appreciate a microwave on level 4!

The break out area means we have come to eat. We cant get away from smells.Hot smells, cold smells,cold delicacies can smell too... does that mean we cant eat?The smell gets sucked up into the roof anyway, and is gone... everthing is in transition, everything is in a state of flux, and it is gone in the next nasal intake of breath,I have smelt worse stuff on the tube... I survived.Long live the microwave..on all floors.

"It's not been PAT tested".... yet....
