I do think there should be more downstairs, in the microwave room and/or on a table outside it. But some staff don't want to sit in the canteen because it's so noisy, and the space in the coffee area which is quieter, is limited. Also, it doesn't really make sense for people to go downstairs to heat their food to then bring it back up.
My only concern would be who would clean them :) (especially given the infinity pool that develops in our shared coffee area).

We usually don't experience the long queues as we are having lunch quite late, but microwaves on each floors would make sense to reduce the wasted time going down and up again.

But some staff don't want to sit in the canteen because it's so noisy, and the space in the coffee area which is quieter, is limited. Also, it doesn't really make sense for people to go downstairs to heat their food to then bring it back up. My only concern would be who would clean them :) (especially given the infinity pool that develops in our shared coffee area).
