Campaign To Prevent Land on Shroggs Road, Halifax being developed

Increase in crime. Rubbish dumped. Surrounding wild life affected. Trees and woodland damaged. No thanks!!

Due to the way this has been released without any forther detail on rules around the site being made accessible to travellers, I am opposing as i have concerns around this around crime increase , trees being cut down and wildlife being affected

This won’t be good for local business

What Benifit dose this add to the community or surrounding areas? None!

Who ever is in favour of this site let them have it on their doorstep and see what happens then !!!!

Under no circumstances do i wish to see travelers on this site.

Council hasn’t provided much information about this so my knee jerk reaction is against. Poorly handled by the council

I don't want this site located near us, due to the influx or crime and bad behaviour associated with the traveller community. Also the mess and chaos they generally cause, the costs of which will be passed onto the taxpayers which we already pay too much for. There isn't enough police to protect us as it is and this will have a greater strain on their services. Build it in London at the side of the houses of parliament and see if they like having them around. It's a total disgrace what this country is coming too

I don’t think it should be allowed as it’s a well known fact crim rates increase in areas with travel also why should we who pay our council tax have to pay for it when the council is already stretched. Plus what about the wild life that will be destroyed by cutting down the trees

I have personal safety concerns about this proposed site, I have also experienced increased crime levels when travellers have moved in, in areas I have previously lived in.

This has to be stopped for lots of reasons

Speaking to other houseowners in areas where traveller sites have been allowed they have had bad experiences socially with the traveller members. I have 2 young children and I am concerned for their welfare

Completely against this and there would be much better uses for the site that could benefit the area and create jobs

Loads of places for travellers to go yet Calderdale trying to get them in without anyone knowing.
