They don't respect property will they pay water rates electric bills council tax etc probably not will theyleave the site tidy doubt it what's the probability of B&Q or the rest of the units getting broken into very high they shoukd not have a designated site it will be bedlam down shroggs road

Who is going to police this site? Is it safe for people to live on here? Can the roads and the school manage with these extra stress put on them?

Site used by many for leisurely eLks kids riin de push bikes there and people walk dogs it’s door the community and this will all stop lif the sites allowed for travelers

I dont want the travellers site to be allowed in wheatley.
This would put more costs onto our council tax to provide things for them such as refuse, lighting, emergency services etc and also devalue the local housing market.
I for one will want to move away from the area should this go ahead.

Absolutely ridiculous. The surrounding area is already considered "underprivileged" by local authorities. This will only do more to harm the surrounding property prices and increase crime rates. Give your heads a shake calderdale council

What a ridiculously stupid move by the council, how to reduce house prices and increase crime figures... not to mention the blot on the landscape this will create and the damage it will do to the wildlife in that area, deers, foxes etc. Don't do it!!!

We are just getting nature back on this site. It was going to be a highways depot, but it was too expensive so why is it not too expensive to spend our money on a gypsy site

I strongly object to this, having lived in the Wheatley area most of my life & within a stones throw from where this site will be! I do not wish for myself, my children or indeed any other residents to be forced to live amongst these travellers!!!
