The junction at greenlees/brownside rd is extremely bad. Traffic lights are needed there. The lollypop lady should be paid extra security money above her wage for the risks she takes every day. This road is a death trap.

This road is awful the speed of cars and lorries is ridiculous it's not safe and agree something needs to be done.

For three years now I have been walking my eldest daughter to school down Greenlees Rd. I also have twins in a double buggy, the volume and speed of traffic is so bad that I cannot allow my twins to walk even now that they are three. Lorries frequently mount the pavement at the corner above Kirkhill station and even when the lollipop lady is on the corner in a morning cars speed out of brownside Rd. I cannot imagine ever being able to allow any of my children to walk to school alone and certainly never to cycle to school. It really is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed on this dangerous road.

My family have lived on Greenlees Road for 30 years and seen numerous serious accidents including our own wall being knocked down while I was playing in the garden. Is it going to have to take a fatality for someone to react?
