Constant crashes on this road for many years and SLC continue to let this happen until some one is killed and they call this a safe walking route.

Not only Greenlees Rd. I've also had a few scary moments on Stewarton Drive where vehicles are travelling far too fast on a residential street where there are lots of children walking to school. I don't understand why this hasn't been addressed sooner!

As a mother of a young child I find this road very dangerous and scary to use, not only is greenlees road very steep , the road winds which is particularly dangerous when the speed of traffic is doing in excess of 30mph . I also find it very dangerous that in the whole length of the road from cambuslang to beyond cambuslang park there is one set of traffic lights and these are located at the junction of cambuslang park ! Children being children on there way to school are not going to walk the full length of the road to use the lollipop person . Calming on this road needs to be implemented or the next time an accident happens it may well be a lot lot worse .

I frequently travel this road on foot with my young daughter & have found it to be particularly dangerous crossing at the bend after Kirkhill Station (cannot cross further along the road as the path near the park entrance is incredibly narrow even for one person) and crossing at the Brownside staggered intersection as you have to look for cars travelling at high speed from every direction. This seems to be the opinion of all the locals which I have discussed my experience with and it is inevitable that someone will get badly hurt or worse.

I would definitely support, lights on the Vicarland Rd and Brownside Rd, I phoned the police today as some idiot came flying round from Greenlees on to Vicarland Rd, I thought he was going to end up on pavement the speed was terrible if someone had been crossing they would have had no chance.

Death trap of a road. Even vicarland road which kids walk up to get to cairns has cars flying up and down at horrendous speeds. With no lollipop person in sight around cairns. Whole area needs looked at for the amount of kids and schools in the area!!!

This is the suggested route for the kids to walk to Cathkin when the school buses stop, it's a disgrace. In the winter especially when the roads are icey, I remember many years ago two young women being killed on their way to work in Hoover when a car skidded.
