Calling for the Resignation of Superintendent Dr. Paul Gausman of the Sioux City Community School District.

Dr. Paul Gausman did nothing when our daughter was being bullied by teachers principal Amy Gilbert the school cop and students. He only cared about his wife and food.she would be bloody and lumped up no one called us. It was absolutely nothing done about it. It goes farther then just Gausman.

I children need to be heard and not ignored.

My step daughter went to west for a little while and was bullied all the time, sat by herself at lunch because she had no friends and was getting D's and F's. We have her full time now so she goes to Le Mars community and this is her first year here and is getting A's and B's AND HAS A TON OF FRIENDS NOW!! They never took action of the bullying that went on. Heck I have been to that school numerous and times just for a few minutes and I say bullying and horrible behavior all over the hallways with staff present and they didn't do anything about it.

Terrible. I was bullied in school, he didnt do anything. He's very fake does not care one bit. Many of my teacher friends say he talks down to them.

He is worthless.. My kids have been bullied and I have sent numerous emails to gausaman.. Not a single response. Some of the principals needs looked at also

I agree. Dr. Gausman should resign. Or be fired, contract not renewed.

Bullying and sexual assault of any child should be taken seriously. He needs to resign.

Very poor management

It’s time for him to go. Bullying is a problem and no one on the board does anything but talk. Oh but we need more money.

Dr. Paul Gausman has been allowed to rule for far too long. Our test scores are LOW and instead of doing his job he moves Teachers around like we wouldn't notice, but still low scores. HE single handedly has threatened Teachers into staying quiet or they will be fired, I know this first hand as I got a group of former students and parents of 2 teachers he did this too and instead of listening to us and doing the right thing, he personally called my Mother and myself and threatened to have the Teachers fired if we didn't " call off the dogs" his words not mine. He has single handedly ruined this school district and I have heard from MANY Teachers in this district that they are in fear of saying anything to this man because they will lose their jobs. He is a Cancer for this system and I for one am fed up with a School Board that WE elect and yet they become his Yes Men and Women. It's time he is let go and new fresh ideas are brought in.

Budget cuts & raises for the board over anything else...big yikes.

As I prepare to send my child to school this upcoming school year and as a previous SCCSD alumni, I would love nothing more than for this guy to resign. Bullying is real and should not be taken lightly. He needs to be removed and someone who does care enough to make changes should be the new superintendent. This sickens me that not even a sexual assault case is being resolved.

I complained of my 6 yr old being bullied took months to get something done.

Get rid of him and get someone in there that cares

My kids go go school at loess hills and bullying happens there also. When is enough when is someone going to step up and protect our kids.

Get Gausman out!!! The disregard for students and their well being needs to stop!!! The bullying has gone on for too long while Gausman and the school board turn a blind eye.....and now a little girl is sexually assaulted!!!
