cant see what is to be gained from doing this as far as traffice is concerned. If it's not broken, don't fix it. Don't put pedestrians in danger. Is this another case of someone trying to justify their existence??

The elected members are deliberatelt ignoring the wishes of the majority of people in order to further their own ends. They all should be voted out at the next local elections.

As well as being dangerous for pedestrians and drivers it will affect the shops as well as people will avoid coming into Kirkintilloch.
