As it stands, the current rate of infection among youths is low and one would be hard pressed to justify the use of Covid-19 vaccinations when most can sufficiently defend against the virus with their own natural immunity; further, sufficient prophylaxis exists at this point to treat those cases which require hospitalization. Therefore, it is difficult to make the case of inoculating the population, especially the young, opening them up to potential side effects, when we are now able to address the virus medicinally and develop herd immunity naturally.

Vaccination for kids seems a very aggressive move. All these vaccines are approved on an emergency basis without proper testing which should have taken 10-20 years. Nobody knows if there is any long-term impact of these vaccines to adults, not even mention about young kids.

It's better to wait and confirm that it's really safe before vaccinating the young. The damages can be irreversible and at great cost emotionally, mentally, physically and financially.
