Please don't vaccinate the children Should not !

Why vaccine the young, when clearly shown that they are not easily contracting the virus, or they probably contracted it with symptoms but not life threatening.

Pleaded Health Minister, Ong YK to halt covid vaccination drive for school children and young adults as there are cases locally and overseas such as USA, Britian and Isreal etc that the vaccines causes death and health problems. Every life is precious and should never take chances in a living beings.

I agree there should be more research done on the adverse effects on giving these emergency vaccines to children.. If the children have no comorbidity health issues, based on research, there is very little chance of infection or reinfection. These are evidenced based research and data. However I applaude the government for not making vaccination mandatory for children. Parents don't have to worry as long as government keep their word and policy, you can choose not to vaccinate your children. Im.signing this petition in a hope that government knows that parents are concerned and wants assurance that vaccinations remains a voluntary choice for all and there should not be any discrimination if anyone chooses not to vaccinate.

Children have a whole lifetime ahead of them and should not take the risk of having UNAPPROVED and UNTESTED vaccines I injected into them. What happen if they suffer from long-term health problems? Will the govt take care of them for life? Even if the govt take care of them for life, what kind of quality lives will our children lead? Don't use them as guinea pigs! PERIOD

To date, no young have died from COVID and they can recover. Why put them at risks? Why not wait for more data? One death is one too many!

99.5% of people infected with Covid19 has fully recovered even before vaccine is available. This shows our immune system is able to combat the virus. So why pushed this "vaccine" which does not have long term data and is still under clinical trials onto citizens and even children? Please have a good heart and do the righteous thing.

Our 15-year old is scheduled for her first vaccination ( Pfizer) tomorrow. Understand completely how the government is caught between a rock and a hard place just as we parents are. However, this petition to suspend second vaccination may just be the best alternative pending further investigations by other countries and CDC. I also note that the required MoH Letter of Consent requires parents to “ consent for my child to receive both doses of the covid-19 vaccine in Singapore.” We are obliged to say “ I understand and agree that there are possible risks and side effects to the covid-19 vaccination.” Getting the results back from CDC and other countries on what those risks actually are would enable parents who sign to make an informed consent. Much easier to make decisions for one selves as adults than for our young. Think the government is amazing to have done the stellar job it has done and make advance purchases of vaccines like Novovax . Also not to have so readily approved SinoVac even though they had the stocks in place and find a clever way of making it available nonetheless. Really hope that the government sees that this suspension is a good thing or let us know if other risks flow from having just one mRNA vaccination ( besides it just becoming ineffective. )
