HUMAN RIGHTS RAPPORT DOES NOT REPRESENT ERITREA'S POPULATION IN DIASPORA OR INSIDE ERITREA.

Dear Human Rights Council: We write to express our serious concern on Eritrea Human Rights report. As Eritrean-Americans born in Oakland California, we are very disappointed by your pursuit to punish Eritrea. we have been in Eritrea five times plus this year. Every other summer of the year for three month, we spend our time with our grandparents, nieces, uncles, nephews who are in school and in the military. I visited few towns and a lot of villages while I stay in the capital Asmara. we have attended wedding ceremonies, Eritrean festivals (EXPO) and Regional Festival in Dekemhare where I have the chance to shake president Isaias Afwerki's hand. I manage to have a conversion with my relatives who are in the military rebuilding and defending the country from the Ethiopian attack and who are at a close look in trenches of our frontline Badma. Ethiopia must unconditional withdraw from sovereign Eritrean territory including Badme, an occupied land of Eritrea by Ethiopian. We were told that the Eritreans and Ethiopians went to the world court in the Hague and agreed for final and binding decision. The interesting part is that the guarantors of the court were: UN, EU, AU, USA and ALGRIA. Please focus on the main issues. We enjoy Eritrea very much, because when we go there we don't have to hear or see gun shots, police and ambulance sirens, fights and bad-words and play outside unattended almost the whole day. So what are you looking in this beautiful, safe and lovely second country of ours. Please reframe from harming Eritrea with no proof. December 28, 2015 Dear Human Rights Council: I'm a Naturalized citizen of USA with a nationality of Eritrean origin. After following your allegation of Eritrea on Human rights abuse especially Freedom of Expression and Association, Arbitrary Arrest and Prolonged Detention and Inhumane Conditions, Indefinite Conscription and Forced Labor, I felt that it is my obligatory duty to share my true story during my education and military services in Sawa and in the frontline of EndaGergis and KesadEka by Zoba Debub (Southern Region). My experience in Sawa is one that I don't forget in my life because Sawa was and is the core identity for true Eritranism. it is a melting-pot for all nationalities, religion, class. It made me the person who I'm now. It taught me to be strong mentally, physical and also spiritually. The Sawa campus compound is pleasant and includes: dormitories, a cafeteria, classrooms and labs, a library, and playing fields. The dormitories with the bays and girls sleeping in separate dorms. As I was in 5th army, Bridged 1, 2nd battalion and 2nd group, round 6 in 1997, have never encountered any mistreatment by my colleges, higher military officers, trainers, teachers or any other personal in a higher position. As a matter of fact, they treat us as their sisters and daughters with high level of comradeship and fatherhood. After the completion of my education and military training in Sawa, I was in the army Garage for few month and went to brigade 99 of the frontline 491. After my voluntary services, I was released to a civilian life in 2003. As a member of the 6th round conscript, I witnessed the dedication of my fellow brothers and sister. Such a dedication for defense and development attest to the role of the nation's youth and shouldering of responsibility. December 28, 2015 Dear members of the United Nations’ Human Rights Council, I read about your recent report on Eritrea, during the investigation, the UN commission of inquiry on Human Rights in Eritrea (COIE) concluded that "systematic, widespread and gross human rights violation" have been committed in Eritrea. There is something about your ability to recognize the dramatic Millennium Development Goals Report of 2015 that is happing in Eritrea and the significant contributing factor in fighting terrorism. On your blind journey to blame Eritrea, you probably missed that fact that Eritrea as a New Country going through all odds, is the Safest place in Africa or otherwise in this planet. Safety for Eritrea is: Harmony, Peace, and Synchronization within its people. So if that is okay with you, I would like to point out some other spots in the world not far from Eritrea that something unheard of human rights abuse, volatile issues that leaves me speechless, and even makes my heart break in pieces as it happen now in Ethiopia. Currently, there is a major human rights violation in Australia, Ghana, and Mauritius. The intent to punish Eritrea by UNHR prosecutors with such charges without evidence is inappropriate. The only explanation to accuse us is not very hard to figure out, because we know who is behind this evil act of defaming Eritrea. I was surprised and shocked how manipulated you are by so called "Anti-Eritrean Intellectuals and Ethiopian government" (TPLF). You are wrongly well feed about Freedom of Expression Association, Reprisals against Family Members, Freedom of Religion, Arbitrary Arrest an Prolonged Detention and Inhumane conditions, Indefinite Conscription and Forced Labor.
