My name is Huruy I have traveled to Eritrea and I have not observed or witnessed what COIE is claiming about Eritrea. I have my family in the national service and none of them said they had any issues on the service. The 500 people claiming they were abused do not represent the Eritrean population in the country or in the Diaspora. 500 people out of ~6,000,000 people are not a great sample. On a science or statistics point of view, the sample size COIE has taken is not big enough. Therefore the claims made by COIE are not credible and should be annulled. If you ask any high school student would explain you it is not a credible sample. I ask that these false claims should be dismissed or annulled. Thank you

My name is Lia and I am Eritrean living in the US. I joined Sawa national service in round 2. The claims made by the COIE are a total fabrication that does not exist in Sawa or in all Eritrea. I also traveled 3 times back home and I did not witness any of the claims. I still have 3 of my family members in the national service. None of them has witnessed any claims made by COIE. I have now understood the COIE is putting on a label on Eritrea without any evidence. I ask the UN to ask COIE to stop putting a horse before the wagon.
