Call to Action: End the Genocide and Confront the Colonial Continuities of Violence
As management scholars committed to justice and human dignity, we cannot remain silent in the face of the ongoing genocide in Palestine. The Palestinian struggle crystallizes many of today’s global struggles for justice: it exposes the persistence of colonial domination, the normalization of dispossession, the racialization of entire peoples, and the complicity of economic and political systems in sustaining violence. To speak about Palestine is therefore to speak about the wider fight against oppression, inequality, and the silencing of voices across the world.
We note the recent open letter addressed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by leading academic economists in the United States and Europe, which calls for urgent international action. We take this as further evidence of the enormous responsibility borne by the United States and Europe in enabling and sustaining this violence. Yet, as management aware scholars, we must go further. The radicality of Israel’s violent actions, and the blind hatred perpetuated against the Palestinian people, demand a collective response from the global academic and management community. As experts who teach and publish on business ethics, corporate governance, strategy and accountability, diversity, and inclusion among other topics, we cannot ignore that the very structures we study are complicit in genocide.
We urge governments across the world to acknowledge and actto stop the ongoing genocide. As scholars, we must reject the normalization of such violence and its reproduction through silence.
We call on you to join us in signing this statement, amplifying our collective responsibility, and acting in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

My petition goes to demand the stop of so much violence against the Palestinian people but also to demand a just and peaceful cohabitation between all the peoples in the Middle East
As a Zimbabwean scholar and educator committed to ethical leadership and inclusive development, I stand in solidarity with all communities facing systemic violence and dispossession. The Palestinian struggle echoes broader global patterns of colonial continuity and injustice. I add my voice not in partisan defiance, but in principled support of peace, dignity, and the urgent need for accountability. May our collective scholarship serve as a bridge toward justice.
