I am opposed to this. We don't want a prison here and this is not what Industrial Estates are for.

This is not ok with alot of winsford residents and seen as this is our town surely we should have a say in this decision!!!

As Chester get most of the money funding nice projects then give them the prison as well. Instead Winsford have nothing already and don't want a prison.

I do not wish for a prison off any kind to be built around the corner from where I live I want to feel safe and Secure in my home and that I will not be burgled

Outrageous behaviour from CWAC. Winsford has suffered enough from poor planning and neglect, and now this?
Would a prison not be better suited nearer to Chester as this is where the courts are?….

Winsford needs to regenerate the town shopping centre and to enhance the "Welcome to Winsford" areas instead of seeing derelict buildings (Crewe to Winsford Rd)
We need more amenities and jobs that are suitable for all ages. Don't think many are trained in being a Prison Warden in Winsford.

Yet another example of cwa treating the people of Winsford as the poor neighbours of Chester and Northwich. How would this attract employers and new people to the town?
