More gypsy sites more houses no infrastructure and now a prison?

This is the last thing Winsford needs. The town has a poor enough name already

Np Prison for Winsford.

It is the very last thing Winsford needs. All the regeneration funding is being spent in Northwich. What positive moves are being made here for the next generation? The parks are being closed down, the town centre has become a wreck, the employment situation is dire. How will a prison improve anything? It is also too close to family housing and primary schools.

Absolutely NO to a prison. Winsford is due something positive instead of nothing spent here. Plenty of houses but not the services to match. Winsford has worked hard to shift it's old image, still room for improvement but traveller sites and now a prison certainly won't built a desirable place to come and live.

Sick and tired of winsford being treated as dirt by Cheshire West and Chester council

Fed up with Winsford being the dumping ground of Cheshire. Build the prison in Wilmslow or prestbury. See what the residents think of that proposal...

I have lived here for 68 years. Winsford used to be a lovely, friendly town prior to the 1970s, when bad decisions destroyed its heart and soul. We USED to have community spirit - PRIDE in our town. Against all odds, we are desperately trying to claw a little of that back. Meanwhile, PLEASE stop using my hometown as a dumping ground. A jail would be the very last straw - the one that would break the camel's back.

Try spending money on improving infrastructure/cinema complex/restraunts to go with the 1000's of new houses being built!

Not in the neighbour hood plan !!!! Winsford is not a dumping ground No more unplanned changes please We need to improve image of this town Need no more cover ups ?? Where and who is suggesting this ? And why only now are we being made aware of winsford being considered ? An open public meeting needs to address people's opinion ! What type of prison ?!
