Over the past several seasons, Call of Duty: Mobile has shifted further away from skill-based gameplay — and many dedicated players are frustrated. The game has become less about talent, reflexes, and strategy, and more about cheap mechanics that cater to low-skill players.
Here are the main issues we want addressed:
-
Overpowered Weapons (USS9 and others)
The USS9 has remained overpowered for far too long. It outperforms even assault rifles in their own category, despite being an SMG. This completely breaks weapon balance and gives unfair advantage to anyone using it. -
Martyrdom Buff — Rewarding Failure
Martyrdom now activates too quickly, making it nearly impossible to avoid. This perk literally rewards dying and punishes good players for securing kills, especially those who play aggressively (“slayers”). It’s demotivating and unbalanced. -
Perk & Wildcard Changes (Greed Nerf)
The recent change to Greed made countering unfair combinations much harder. Previously, skilled players could use Flak Jacket + Dauntless to adapt strategically — now, that flexibility is gone. This limits tactical play and favors easy, spammy loadouts. -
Toxic Loadouts (Persistence, Man-O-War + Thermite)
Loadouts like Persistence or Man-O-War + Thermite require minimal skill but dominate lobbies. These options make gameplay frustrating, repetitive, and heavily luck-based rather than rewarding skill or game sense. -
Ranked Mode Needs an Overhaul
The current ranking system rewards time played and match wins, not individual performance or skill. A player can reach Legendary simply by pressing “Start” often enough. Meanwhile, skilled players on weaker teams lose points despite performing better.- Ranking should consider individual impact, not just the final score.
- Matchmaking should be based on true skill and not random luck.
We are not asking for perfection — just fairness. CoD: Mobile has one of the best shooter mechanics on mobile, and we love it. But the current design choices are driving away the very players who built the community through dedication and skill.
