Representatives of the people should reflect the will of the state they represent. Not vote on personal bias and accept bribes from pharmaceutical companies to veto a Bill 80% of Pennsylvanians support.

I am a resident of PA and have severe fibromyalgia and complex PTSD. You are working VERY hard against the people of your state because you took 37,000 dollars in contributions from pharma companies. Your keeping what basically amounts to bribes at this point above my health and the health of TONS of other PA citizens is morally bankrupt. Some of the drugs the pharmaceutical companies you took money from have left me far worse off than I was before I took them, including Depakote which was used off label. You received 3,500 dollars from Abbot Labs. Congratulations! You took money from a company that nearly crippled my ability to keep a job!! I see that their contributions also gave you a medical degree and a severe god complex. Medical Marijuana will help so many lives and you are refusing us because you are only beholden to your contributors. I hope that enough of us stand up to you that since you refuse to listen to the people of PA that you will be forced to resign. The people of PA need this and from what I am reading YOU are the biggest opponent. Please resign or stop fighting this. You are absolutely positively on the wrong side of this fight. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Mr. Baker, You have shown that you do not listen to the people you are supposed to represent and hide behind excuses like a quibbling little child. I know times have changed from the 90s but you can't ignore the facts about the medicinal purpose of THC. As someone who suffers and needs to go through drug dealers just to get medicine that works for me what you are doing could very well mean that I will always have to be seen as a criminal, something which I am not. The FDA has not approved THC officially but if you ask any pharmaceutical director that works with the FDA they can all tell you that the FDA has all but come out publicly saying that it is safe for you. I don't know who is lining your pockets but please do the right thing and make PA a progressive state and not a hillbilly yokel state that the rest of the north east sees us as.

It's rediculous that a natural treatment is being held back from the thousands of people it could ease the suffering for.
