A representative is elected to represent his constituents and not the companies that funded his campaign. Especially not drug companies that have been battling with the FDA to have their drugs approved, the same organization that he says should have the final say on marijuana's medicinal usage.

I think that the medication should've been approved. The system has legalized a lot of medical drugs that will do a lot of harm to your body and possibly cause addictions. Which all in all pill addiction is on the rise. It's not fair for people who choose to do heroin to have medication to prevent an overdose but for youth and people who suffer from serious diseases can't have the approval of a medication that grows from the earth.

Why would you not listen to 90% of the population ? Who do you represent big Pharma? Look up the leading cause of death among young people in your County. Are you proud of society eating fistfuls of pills and dying from it? Try finding a death from Marijuana. You've lost respect from a huge majority of the people you represent. Are you a conservative ? Maybe you should look up the definition...

Fascists have no place in any government. The pharmaceutical industry, law enforcement and prison industrial complex lobbies are not your only constituents. If you aren't careful you'll be applying for unemployment benefits Mr. Baker.

The people of PA have spoken, and most want medical marijuana available to people who need it. What gives HIM the right to decide the House will not see this? He must have never had a loved one who suffers from chronic pain, or had cancer and needed relief from the side chemo/radiation treatments, or suffers the hell from PTSD.

Thousands are in agonizing pain with cancer and other ailments that medicinal marijuana can help. Stop ignoring the science. It's shameful that a representative is bought and sold by big pharma.

My mother has been suffering from severe crohns disease for over 10 years and does not enjoy cannabis for recreational purposes but still reaps so many benefits from cannabis medically. Cannabis allows her to eat and sleep and she is no way a criminal nor should she be considered one under these outrageous laws that are currently in place. It is terribly selfish for anyone to deny patients like my mom this natural medicine that works wonders. The research is globally available yet politicians refuse to acknowledge it because of their financial support to big pharma. It's time to acknowledge and give patients the medicine that allow them to live normal lives.
