You were elected to represent the best interests of the state. But like many you are self-serving and indifferent to the needs of others. Respectfully, step down and allow PA voters someone with a finger on the pulse of reality. "Your way or no way"- doesn't work when you are supposed to represent the commonwealth! Of course Big Pharma would support a closed-minded, puppet like yourself- they can think for you. You can't think for yourself!' Your brilliant political move is to delay alternative medicine, so your masters are pleased ? (Cannabis would ruin Zomig sales for migraines!) It is a shame really, you should have been extraordinary, left your mark, and been fondly remembered as someone initiating change (an imminent change, mind you) and PA needs that more than ever- you need to GO!

Try being a decent member of the state government and honor the wishes of over 75% of Pennsylvanians and more than half the country.

Either get with the current times and educate yourself with facts, stop being an extinct, fossilised dinosaur with your opinionated beliefs of what "you" perceive and advertise as fact, or right and wrong, or step down and resign, and let a much better suited candidate be able to hold your public, ELECTED position! Believing that Cannabis doesn't have even just 1 of 100's of the many, Scientifically proven and legitimate medical properties, is like believing and saying that the sun's surface is frozen!!!! It really sounds that absurd to an educated, up to date person that knows the truth about how Cannabis is, and what the research and studies have proven and what it's really like, despite all of the ridiculous propaganda that's been lied about and greatly exaggerated that's been pumped into our head's and our society since the beginning of the 20th century! I'm Sorry Mr. Baker, Like it or not, America is a country of it's people, and the people have spoken loud and clear by dominating polls coast to coast in favor of medical and recreation cannabis! It's a plant, why is it a scheduled 1 narcotic, meaning that it's the most dangerous and most addictive substances known to doctor's and science, both of which you are not, and right along side Crystal Meth and Heroin! It shouldn't even be classified with any scheduled drug or on a list somewhere restricting it's access! That's like having to put Vitamin B or Ginko Biloba into a drug classification too then! It's so crazy it's not even funny, and just downright scary when the country's majority is in favor of a particular topic, but the 1% running the show gets to decide who is worth listening to, and who isn't! Washington D.C.is another great example, the people voted on what THEY wanted to become law, but the tiny percent of Gov't Rep's who's " Opinion" differs, are trying to say, "Even though the voters showed up and did their patriotic duty, and won by a landslide, then how can a few old white guy's say and act li

We need to end the pointless suffering of those who can benefit from regulated cannabis use, but as long as this man, who receives funds from the companies that stand to lose the most from legalization, is controlling the bills that enter the house it will not happen and we Pennsylvanians will continue to see similar injustices from close minded individuals who, like rep. Baker, are supposed to better our lives while they are doing the opposite
