Call for the job of state representative Matt Baker

His stance is not consistent with the majority of Pennsylvanians, his peers, or the Governor. The continuation of Marijuana prohibition is unconstitutional and a hindrance to our economic growth. From a moral perspective the law is not consistent with the principles of our founding fathers nor my beliefs as a Christian. It's time for us to stop this political game and get people like this out of our government because they clearly do not have our best interest at heart.

I don't live in PA, but all politicians that have been bought and paid for need to go whether it's local, state, or federal office.

By denying access to the plant you are in fact leaving it only to politicians to decide on cannabis as medicine. If politicians allowed cannabis then it would actually be left to the discretion on medical professionals to decide. I mean his campaign donators pretty much says it all.

Let the people vote on this, we will get nowhere with these politicians with their own agendas. How can Baker be so stupid?

Doctors wanna prescribe me six different " medicines" with hundreds of side affects and the possibility of needing more medications to reverse the side affect of other " medicines" . Oh n I can overdose on them all not to mention be a walking zombie. Marijuana has NO side affects and NO Chance of overdose and the ability to let me walk around functioning and aware not in zombie like state. Mr baker why don't u go take a dose of the "medicine "that u want prescribed for m. After 19 years I'm still alive and thinking and remembering more clearly than ever. Guess if it's so bad then how am I still here?????

As someone entering the field of Occupational Therapy, you had the power to help. So many are suffering. Your interest lies in donations by pharmaceuticals though. Rest assured, I will use my authority as an OTR/L to tell patients in pain that their pain will persist because of your greed, Baker. Good luck with votes. You're ugly, too.

The bill passing the senate with such an overwhelming majority should have been enough to prompt mr baker to atleast allow a vote, disgraceful.

No single person, should be able to make or break a choice, thst involves a large amount of people's health. It's hypocrisy.

As someone who is suffering from chronic pain, this man breaks my heart. I need this option. I can't take much more of the pain. It's ruining my quality of life. I was so hopeful when the bill passed senate and now this man is ruining every ounce of hope I had left for a normal life. I hope he never has to experience such a life.

Pennsylvania needs the potential revenue that legal marijuana sales would generate to reduce or eliminate school taxes. That should be our ultimate goal. Homeowners cannot continue to bear the full burden any longer.

Enough is enough.. You work for us not the lobbies.
