It's quite obvious where this man's concerns are and it is certainly not the people of Pennsylvania. The fact that the majority of his funding comes from big pharma should tell you everything. He needs to go!

Article 1, Section 2 of the Pennsylvania constitution declares that; All power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority and instituted for their peace, safety and happiness. For the advancement of these ends they have at all times an inalienable and indefeasible right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such a manner as they may think proper.

As a retired senior citizen, I would love to give up the expensive pain meds, (that really don't work), and sleep at nights again.
Think of the people of Pennsylvania, and do the right thing.

I have suffered from seizures since brain surgery. I can feel the 'storm' building inmy head and then it gets out of control. I have been on a variety of drugs. On was ineffective, one made me stupid and slow, one gave me a reaction that was violent. (I stopped that one immediately) I tried a new drug which was okay, but when I started using Marijuana as a supplement I have not felt the 'storm' ever again.My problem is that not all strains are good form me, the quality is questionable since I am forced to buy on the black market. I don't know what I'm getting. I also have problem with giving my money to Mexican drug cartels just to get some medicine that keeps me from having a seizure. Is that fair? Is it right? When overwhelmingly the citizens approve of it, and teh senate has overwhelmingly approved the bill, then how can one man (who takes a lot of big pharma's money get in the way of the people's wishes?

This guy is just a money-hungry opportunist who only does whats best financially for him. He does not "represent" the majority of Pennsylvanians at all. He says the FDA hasn't approved medical marijuana but in fact it already has synthetic PSYCHOACTIVE THC approved as Marinol. Yeah, a doctor can write you a script for the stuff. Only difference is that this guy can't make money on a plant, it has to be labeled and sold as a pharmaceutical for him to make a buck.

I had a daughter with epilepsy many seizures a day..finally experimental brain surgery because she became toxic to all the Phama drugs she had to take........
Now I have a daughter who has a Bulldog, yes I said a dog, who has cluster seiizues, and we have been told cannibis would stop or at least lessen them....she has spent in 5 months $7,000 in Vet care and Pheno, Keppra in huge doses and the dog still has seizures........people need this, epileptics, cancer patients, Vets for PTSD.....that is the human side.........now we find out it can help our beloved pets........when is Pa. going to get with the program and stop being so antiquated in their thinking.......its not the 1800's..........and get rid of Baker......big Pharma is in his pockets.....

You shouldnt be allowed to turn down something that millions of people agree on. Not right to us, the people, of this state to have to deal with your decisions. Especially when you have no knowledge of all the benefits it would provide for all these people. Stand up and allow the vote or step down and watch how fast it gets passed. Get out of the way of the voting people.

Step down Baker. It's clear to the residents of PA who you are representing- drug companies whose interests lay in preventing medical marijuana because people might actually not need their expensive drugs anymore. You are so transparent. We can't study medical marijuana without legalizing so stop using this poor excuse and let's move into the present with the rest of the world. This is so critical with PA being a hub for med and Pharma research. You are just a failure.
