I watched Bakers speech he clearly has big pharma in his back pocket! The children and families have run out of options medical marijuana is a PROVEN answer. This new drug he's pushing has many many side effects none of them Good it's time to take back our power as the people of Pennsylvania!

While he's lining his pockets with the money of the big pharmaceutical companies, my nephew waits. Waits and has seizure after seizure. I'm talking about seizures that ARE NOT controlled by modern medicine. Because of the seizures he has to wear a helmet, can no longer walk and is in a wheelchair, he wears diapers, and has a feeding tube. The meds have MANY side effects like causing brittle bones (he currently has a broken foot from his bones being brittle). Most times his "rescue" meds don't stop the seizure, and he's had his fair share of helicopter and ambulance rides (and long term stays) to hospitals like CHOP. These seizures have taken away any chance of him just being able to be kid. He is in need of constant care and my sister struggles to keep a nurse staffed in her home 24/7.
Mr Baker says, "Long term marijuana use can cause brain damage." I've got news for you...the seizures already have! And my nephew doesn't have a long term future. My sister is just trying to get him to tomorrow.
God help this man if my nephew passes away while waiting for access to the only drug which could not only save his life but could give him a real chance at LIVING that life!
Mr Baker, I challenge you to spend a week living with my sister and nephew. Look my sister in the eye and tell her her child doesn't matter as much as the money in your pockets.

Dear Rep. Baker,
I have read that you are opposed to the legalization of medical marijuana. If you can not reconsider you position on this, than I think you need to step down from your positon. I have seen the suffering of children who being able to be legally treated with this natural medication would benefit greatly. Animals would not be allowed to suffer and so many of them do when they have uncontrolled seizures. If you can not have any empathy for their suffering, and change your stand on this issue, you don't deserve to hold the office you do. If you can't step down, come election time I am hoping and praying people will make that choice for you and vote you out of your elected office. You are not serving their best interest as you were elected to do. Thank you for your time regarding this matter.

One person blocking a bill should not be allowed. Get your head out of the ground and allow the medical cannabis bill to come to vote.

So you blocked the bill because plant medicine would negatively effect your campaign contributors. What you're doing is corruption and it's sickening.

Medical cannabis is a more natural way to heal sooo many ailments Mr. Baker. From a family history of severe Bipolar disorder and Anxiety disorders, Rheumatoid arthritis and chronic pain, the pills give awful side effects and stop working after a certain amount of time leading to need to trying something else. Our bodies aren't meant for all the pills :(. Our kidneys, livers etc take a beating when we already have a cannaboid system within our bodies from birth! Look it up I promise your eyes will open. Please don't look at the money you will lose, but instead the lives you will save! Be a good person and help us all please <3
