Call for suspension of Bradford Councillor David Heseltine

This is the man who had to resign over his perv web browsing, he consistently shows his unfitness to hold offfice

this man is a complete disgrace

Supporting all vulnerable members of a community should be an integral part of all councillors' remit.

His words about the homeless are dispicable. We are all suppose to be striving for (Hope not Hate) but his cruel verbal language is assault on Liberty. He must be suspended for his lack of humanity.

these people could be re-housed very easily. buy a lot of old shipping containers, re-fit them with toilet and furniture and you could have 1 bedroom containers , 2 high, in groups on some brown site land for about £20k each, and once housed they can claim benefits and pay rent, bringing back the cost of making them in the first place. gets them off the streets, gives them an address so they can apply for benefits and jobs. 30 of them re-fitted and rentable at a cost of around £500k, 30 rents coming in wouldn't take long to pay that back, then its profit to build more if needed and still bringing in income for the council. rocket science? hardly!

The responsibility of Bradford Coucil is to ensure that those people sleeping rough on the streets of the city are provided with safe and secure accommodation. I abhor the comments made by Cllr Heseltine, he has a collective responsibilty, along with his elected colleagues, to ensure a humane policy towards the homeless of Bradford is complied with.

The councillor has no answers to the problem in his choice of words. Not suitable person to be in this position.

Disgusting behaviour.

To follow Cllr Heseltine's actions would be committing an offence of assault. It's disgusting a Councillor would suggest we break the law. Perhaps a more humane approach would be to find out how these people ended up living rough and help them. Instead, we close day shelters & reduce beds in hospital for alcohol and mental health related issues. Perhaps a bit of "care in the community" would be a better alternative.

Humanity should start at home, these so called tramps are simply people who need a helping hand to put life back together.

Perhaps the only person to be held by the scruff of the neck and dealt with is David Heseltine,so deal with him.

He should be sacked, I'm trying to help the homeless at the moment and they don't deserve to be on the street and some don't want to be there. They need our help not discrimination

As stated before has this person.....I use the term loosely! ANY IDEA whatsoever what these poor vulnerable human beings have been through prior to becoming homeless etc? Beggars belief!!!!!

Long overdue

Clearly this man has no idea about the realities facing many of our own people . Charity must always begin at home . Whenever there is something left , well then we can afford to be generous .

It is clowns like this who should be taken by the scruff of the neck and eliminated. I'm sure there would be a queue lining up to do it.

Homeless people need the support of Bradford council in the effort to find them permanent and secure accomodation in the City. I am appalled that I see homeless individuals under the arches near Forster Square railway station. Some seem to have been there for what seems to be months. They need help now, as winter in on it's way
