Parking is a huge struggle on event days & makes it almost impossible to attend church services on a sunday or wednesday if it is an event, not to mention if we have other things on different days & it’s an event day. Parking is VERY restrictive & public transport is overcrowded & sometimes dangerous on event days especially when travelling with a toddler. Something needs to be done.

I support this campaign because everyone deserves equal access to parking, whether they’re attending a religious service or a social event; under the Human Rights Act 1998 article 9 protects our right to practice religion, and article 14 ensures that individuals are not discriminated against based on their beliefs. Local councils should make sure that religious gatherings are treated the same as any other event so by not providing enough parking for worshippers is unfair and could even be against the law.

This church has blessed my family and friends, goes above and beyond for the community without any cost to the community.
