To think that the whole situation isent embarrassing enough lol. Should definitely resign. Far from anybody I'd want in control of any decision making processes .

I feel like she should resign if it was a man it would have already resigned because they would have forced him to why should it be any different

She promised to be transparent and is now refusing to give her phones unlock code. What she does has sickened me and I feel like she just expects us to forgive her whether we want to or not.

Do not trust the mayor. Believe she has used taxpayers money on her affair.

I do not trust the mayor anymore. I believe she has lie and has use the tax payer money on her affair to travel and pleasure herself at the Nashville tax payer expense. No more in her. If her husband can’t trust the mayor why should I think I can.

The affair only points to a bigger problem; bad judgement. We need a real, full-time mayor now, more than ever.

wait what?? affair x 2 yrs , her son ODs and shes sleeping around -- no Mayor Berry does not belong in public office. She could best serve the Nashville population by stepping down.

This is far beyond the money aspect. This is an issue of personal as well as professional integrity, honor of the office and broken trust of the voters. I'd be saying the same if she were a conservative.

Resign Mayor Megan Barry! She loves being mayor, getting vacations with her bodyguard that she sleeps with, he gets over double in over time and nothing is really getting fixed in Nashville. It’s the same old story with corrupted or bad politicians. All she is doing is putting lipstick on the problems and calling it fixed. Just like her marriage. Then convincing hard workers that she is making differences. She walks around and talks about what she is going to do and adds little improvements (lipstick) and goes back to her great life after lying to everyone. We need better people in powerful positions and ones that will make big changes while not trying to use their power to get pleasure or financially help those that our closest to her. Our education system outside the rich suburbs are failing. The mass transit system when completed will still leave us with problems because it’s not a big enough project and extending far enough or to enough areas. Bullet recognition systems won’t fix the violence, drug and teen problems. It’s just lipstick while the mayor enjoys her time reaping the attention and benifits in office.

I vote to force Megan Barry to resign. If private industry have morals clauses in their employment contracts with their employees, why not our government leaders?

She can’t answer questions like when the affair ended. Normally, I would say thats personal but she is in a public office and did wrong. She should just be as honest as possible. Nope! She is a corrupted, lying, untrusting politician. Why do we need a TN mayor going to Greece alone with her sexual fling?! Is that smart taxpayer money decisions?! Really, let’s be honest that wasn’t a benefit for them. I would love being Mayor too, if TN provided vacations. They go to Greece but we have crime problems, education problems, road problems and etc.. I guess to solve those problems you got to vacation in Greece. Make her Resign, get someone honest and makes better decisions.
