he wants to make a statement, he can do it on a Saturday when he isn't working. How dare he take it upon himself to make personal statements like this from his place of work, where he 'seemingly' represents and electorate - ridiculous behaviour from a public official - an absolute disgrace !

It is disgraceful that David Meikle does not feel sympathy for the 1500+ men, women & children indescriminatly killed at the hand of the Israeli Army. I admire Baroness Warsi for her moral stand in support of the victims of Israeli War Crimes

Given the situation in Gaza being so sensitive for Muslims at the moment, the actions by David Meikle show how disconnect he is with his ward. If you can't represent the views of your ward then you shouldn't be representing the people within them.
