An intelligent person would understand the consequences of such an action, he is clearly a simple man. These people shouldn't have a position representing an area of Glasgow.

Despite popular support in Glasgow for the flying of the Palestinian flag Mr Meikle has shown complete disregard for protocol and the wishes of his constituants. Isntead Meikle has abused his position in the most wreched manner in order to show his personal support for a murderous regime illegally occupying sovereign territory and murdering innocent civilians in an overt act of genocide. This "man" is not fit to hold any public office and should either resign or be driven out. Worse still is despite such vile actions he has not even the courage of his convictions and has deleted his twitter account. It is an embarrassment to Glasgow Council and the people of Glasgow and indeed Scotland at large to be assciated with this individual.

Israel's actions in this 'war' are disgusting. If waving a a Palestinian flag is legitimizing Hamas as some say, then waving an Israeli flag is endorsing child murder and war crime.

The Palestine’s have the right to freedom, Time to resign.
So Glaswegians only allow one point of view ?. I dont think its right to fly the Palestine flag but you dont see me telling people to quit there job, I support israel but we should stay out of it.
