I believe David Meikle has dishonoured his role by this act. His duty is to represent his constituents rather than carelessly commit acts that can only lead to controversy and disrepute. I feel that he has demonstrated he can no longer be trusted by myself and all the individuals who had democratically made their request to Lord Provost to show solidarity for the the atrocities being carried out in Palestine. I believe he should resign from his role with immediate effect.

I physically feel sick with disgust. With his immature actions he is saying it is ok to kill innocent people. He should resign, if he does not then he should be sacked. Free Palestine from Aparthied Israel. He has totally offended Glasgow and the Commonwealth in his absurd actions.
