Meikle has shown himself to be ignorant of the truth or maybe he shares the arrogance of the Israeli war machine. He should resign or be forced to resign for his callous insensitivity to the suffering of the Palestinians. Mr Meikle would have been a proud supporter of the old apartheid regime in South Africa. It is a concern that a man with his dark consciousness can even pretend to be a politician in our beloved city.
