Call for audit and streamlining of the SAG/AFTRA residuals process

We need artificial inteligence and machine learning to be put into play to track our performances 24-7 in real time. We additionally need an online portal that tracks out time and money units on every film we worked on. Better tech equals better checks.

Time to be transparent and fair on this one! Dates clearly show that large residual checks regularly take months to get from producers to SAG-AFTRA, and then often take longer to get to the performer.

Thank God they're finally looking at this issue for actors. It's been nonsense for a long time

They need to drastically expand resources to help with this transition. Also agree it needs auditing.

Residual checks shouldn’t take weeks to be sent out.

We work so hard, and everyone should be paid accordingly to their work. Actors are some of the most hardest working people in the world, and we sacrifice so much in order to get to where we want to be in the industry.

I would love to have my residuals arriving when they should as a show of courtesy and also a show professionalism.
