A formal request that action be taken against such freedom of speech. An example should be made against the said newspaper for publishing such material and also there should be some type of reprimanding for individuals.

It is very telling that these young men felt it was acceptable to dress up in these costumes in a country that their forefeathers colonised. This is insensitive, insulting, hurtful and shocking. These young men, the event organisers and the Allgemeine Zeitung should spend some time getting to know their context, their country and their level of privelage. They should reflect on their place in Namibian society. The bubble of isolation has officially been burst.
