Or kids could just learn to cross a road, they're so oblivious to traffic these days as they're so mollycoddled they think they can do anything

There has been numerous accidents involving children on this part of the road. It's a little bit negligent that the council haven't installed a crossing of sorts. Yes I understand there is one further up but children don't use it as its too far away from the park/bike track. I believe there should be more than one crossing put in this end.

the council build a brand new bike track that cost loads of money build a car park. all the children from ruffs play on this park and have to cross this road, it would make sense but we are talking about the council installing a crossing, make it a 20 miles zone, put those little people bollards at the side of the road. the entrances to the park are either on watnall road or right at the side of the mini island, which is a nightmare to cross even for an adult. but there are half a dozen roads opp the park and children can gain access any where along that stretch of road.

We definitely need a crossing on Nabbs Lane. It is such a nightmare to cross this road! We have stood there for nearly 10 minutes just waiting to cross the road! It's ridiculous! Cars are always speeding on this road too. There's been numerous people knocked down on this road over the last few years. Something needs to be done.

A nightmare for anyone trying to cross. It's sheer luck making it across as an adult sometimes, let alone for children.

There's already 2 zebra crossings on Nabbs lane granted a third by the park would be ideal but would the kids use it? I hope the boy is ok and makes a speedy recovery.

I have said that it is not safe over again especially bikers crossing over the new bike play area. I've nearly knocked over a few children who have not looked! They don't wear helmets or any protection and don't look at the busy road. It's a matter of time until a death will happen, only then will a crossing happen

It goes without saying a crossing is needed near the park/bmx track. Does it really take for several children to get knocked over before one is installed!
