In California, along with many other states, tampons and other menstrual hygiene products are taxed as luxury items rather than necessities. This is despite the fact that many other items, including condoms, are not taxed as they are considered "necessities". Its honestly ridiculous that these are taxed. Biology isnt a choice and we shouldnt have to pay extra just to handle a basic bodily function.

End the discrimination toward women. Feminine hygiene products are a necessity not a luxury.
