We, the parents, students, friends, and boosters of the California High School Marching Band and Color Guard, respectfully request that the Principal and Athletic Director at Cal High reinstate our final 3 (three) rehearsals (Nov. 7, 12, and 14) back to the Grizzly Stadium field at the school.
Our Marching Band has placed FIRST at every competition this season. Our color guard has taken sweepstakes TWICE, beating all of the other school's color guards.
Our over 100 students should not have to relocate their final rehearsals off campus, nearly 5 miles away, with thousands of dollars of instruments, in order to finish out their winning season.
We ask that our final rehearsals be put back into the stadium at Cal High, with the same schedule (Mon/Wed night) that we have had all season.
