Christ. Buy a coffee machine. If you still need your bourgey ass coffee from Skeller, walk 200 feet down Rivermont to Magnolia foods, or try tea at Good Karma. Grow up. Skeller is not your mom.

you could even limit the menu for weekends so it is easier because I think the issue is with hiring people/students for the weekend

I understand you're trying to accomplish something you feel is useful, but I don't think you realize exactly what you're asking here. By being open Friday and Saturday nights, Skeller would have to get adult and student workers to disrupt their normal work schedules, and their personal time on the weekends. These are very particular hours, and finding people willing to fill them would be difficult and inconvenient for both staff and management. Beyond this, Skeller used to be open on weekends with hours similar, but not quite the same as these, but between the high demand for Conway and EXTREMLY small amount of customers at Skeller, these hours were not longer needed. Students requested more Conway hours, so student demand has already been met in this respect. I understand having these extra dining hours would be convenient for you, but that's not all that can be considered here.

Skeller's hours shouldn't affect your ability to do homework, you are using that as an excuse which is something good students simply don't do. I actually petition that you stop making out with your girlfriend in front of everyone, it would save us some trouble too. If you really need more caffeine to do your homework then just go to Conway to get coffee, or even 7-11, OR just manage your time better. By the way, you have more negative comments than signatures.

The reason Skeller isn’t open on the weekends is because a) it used to be but it didn’t make any money, and b) skeller has student employees who need the weekend to study. If you can’t study without caffeine I suggest either investing in a coffee machine or buying a big mug to take coffee from D-hall when it’s open. Alternatively there’s a 7/11 a short walk away if you really aren’t satisfied with d-hall.
On a personal note if you can’t study without caffeine, you can also consider the many soda machines around campus that sell Starbucks bottled coffee as well as a variety of energy drinks.

I'm not down for making students work on the weekends. That should be a break from their full time jobs as students along with their part time jobs at Skeller. Friday afternoons and Saturdays should be reserved for homework and relaxation. Neither of which you can do while working.
Plus if you really need coffee in order to do homework before Sunday nights, there are way more cost effective ways (ie make your own coffee with a coffee maker) or equally convienient ways (walk to places that are open like 7-11 or the breakfast joints on Rivermont). Or time manage better during the week so youre not forced to do homework late into the night "making you tired for Monday classes".
