True representation of the people by the people should be a vote from ALL the people! This bill seems to limit our true democratic policies as a government to which we still claim feedom on the very basis of the definitions.

Why is the State involved in the County business? Unless the County is in a dire financial state or being run illegally...there is no reason for this intrusion.

Signing this bill would be a tragedy. Let us, as residents of Cabarrus County, make the choice that Rep. Pittman is trying to make for us. Let us as citizens in Cabarrus County decide how best to govern our own county.
