Not only has our church strayed so far from Jesus message to have the arrogance to ignore our lady's request, it is selfish for each generation of children . My kids were born in mid 80s and 1 in 90. Religious education is a joke and combine that with the media, and a parent has no control over what values and beliefs you want your kids to have. Also I made my first communion before Vatican 2
Shortly after that the watered down rules came and as the years go by I too though all you have to do is believe in God. It seems that if it exists it's ok. If u don't believe that u are ignorrent or intolerant of other...even if it is in direct opposition to what the Bible says.
