MSG Varsity is not allowed by our school district to come into our school and record any of our athletic events. When asked for a reason, the school Superintendent and our Athletic Director claim it is school policy to not allow a "for profit" organization like MSG Varsity to benefit from our athletic programs. While this can be viewed as admirable, we feel this is not a position that should prevent our children from gaining exposure from their athletic participation and any personnel recognition on MSG Varsity television. Byram Hills is only one of three schools in the entire district that takes this position regarding their athletics however this position is ignored when it comes to our academics. Please sign this petition in hopes of changing our schools position to not allow MSG Varsity to cover athletic events.
