i would like to have one of these sweet minipigs as a pet but by law i cant cause it's a livestock law cant have any livestock in the city of winnipeg manitoba. These pets are smart ,clean, and i think its a dumb law and we should do something abbout it so more people like me can have a pet like this .
The increase in support has moved this issue onto the radar of city council members. I am currently reaching out to provincial representatives to discuss the necessity of updating the livestock definition in our local bylaws.

I love pigs of all kinds and think that they should be a legal pet just like Guinea pigs!

Tea cup pigs should be considered pets ... You eat livestock ... You don't eat tea cup pigs

I want to have a pet pig. They are smart and trainable. They don't bark, so they won't annoy neighbours, and they are clean.

I would love to have one of these animals. A micro pig (or teacup pig) is an immensely clean animal and are sometimes even smarter than a dog. And they are so so sweet!

I agree completely. Teacup piggies are sweet, clean and smart. Just imagine one of these little guys running around the house.

I hate this law. Teacup pigs are the cleanest creatures I have ever seen, at full grown have the brain of a five year old. (meaning that they learn VERY quickly) they can be potty trained in less than a month and DO NOT SMELL!!!!!!!!! They are quiet animals And once again are not a nuisance to anyone or anything within a hundred miles of themselves... I HATE THIS LAW
