Please allow everyone who wants to allow fresh eggs and meat.

This bylaw needs to be changed

I believe if there are stipulations of no roosters and limited numbers that it is entirely reasonable, and should be allowed, for people to keep backyard chickens.

This is utterly rediculous!

In a time of financial strife, consider changing to a limited flock, and no rooster. If the resident has a manure plan there should be no concern, council consider changing - concerned resident for common sense

Allow chickens for food in town

It is ridiculous that Kitchener and Toronto allow chickens on tiny city properties but South Bruce will not allow them on half acre lots. Chickens are way less of a nuisance then dogs which are allowed.

There is no reason to force local families to get rid of chickens which are allowing them to eat well and in no way harm the neighbourhood. This injustice must be righted!
