I fully support the renewal of the Beginning with Children Charter School's (BwCCS) charter renewal. I have been with the BwCCS family starting in the 4th grade in 2001 in Ms. Emanuel's class, and with out the wonderful people that supported me in this school; including but not limited to Ms. Emanuel, Ms. Bailey, Ms. Kilrain, Ms. Margie, Ms. Valerie, Mr. Garber, Ms. Zoraida, Mr. Gulardo, and so many more I would not be in education today. I entered BwCCS 2-3 grade levels behind where I should have been. I graduated BwCCS exceeding grade level expectation, received high school math credits and skills to enter into the real world. I am currently a Special Education teacher in a high school in Miami, FL and seeking my master degree from the University of Central Florida obtaining a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. I do not think I would be the educated African American male I am today without the foundation BwCCS supplied for me so many years ago. I believe in the Biblical foundation that "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6) and I believe BwCCS did just that. It would break my heart if this school is not renewed and the legacy does not continue. Please renew BwCCS!

I support the renewal of BWCCS. This place has been home to many of my friends and me since Pre-k. I am a graduate of BwCCS class of 2011. Now, I am a freshman in college.

As an educator at this school for over 15 years, I have seen first hand the success stories that have come out of B.w.C.C.S. I would love to see the legacy continue.
