I have been reading through all your comments today and honestly some of these stories about the extra costs are just heartbreaking because it really is so much money for families to suddenly find out of nowhere. I am busy drafting a long letter to the council office right now while my tea gets cold and I am just hoping they actually read it instead of just tossing it in a bin somewhere.

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving and seeing everyone jump in like this makes me feel way less alone with the stress of these new bus costs. It is wild that so many people are just as annoyed about these letters as I am so please keep spreading the word because we might actually get someone at the council to listen if we keep this energy up.

my son attends westlands and this extra cost is a struggle for us. they need to look at the budget elsewhere instead of penalizing hard working families.
unfair on the kids. keep the fares low.
doubling the price is absolutely insane. how are families supposed to just find that extra money out of nowhere? stop hitting parents in the pockets!
Absolute robbery. they think we are made of money.
Ridiculous hike. My daughter goes to churston and we already pay enough in taxes.
