To whom it may concern
The students of Professor Jerry Savin’s Business 312 Monday/Wednesday class would like to formally request the removal of Jerry Savin from teaching this course.
This class has been chaotic from the beginning:
-our first project he did not explain what he was looking for, and then reprimanded the class for “plagiarism” because we worked together and our results were similar.
-items due one week in the module for a different week on Canvas
-multiple inconsistent due dates between Canvas and McGraw Hill resulting in point deduction
-refusal to explain the purpose of a last minute assignment when directly asked
-disrespect to students in the form of scoffing when expressing our frustration with him
Due to business 312 being a requirement for all business students, it is inefficient to keep utilizing a professor who is unable to properly communicate the information. Multiple students from this class will be forced to take this class over again due to his lack of care, resulting in more tuition fees, and issues for CalPrimise students maintaining their course load. Due to these issues we believe the appropriate action is the removal of Professor Savin from teaching this course.
Thank you
Business 312
This professor has no idea what he is doing, he openly admitted to “copying and pasting” the canvas from a different professor. He didn’t teach well and would spend most of the class time ranting about what he did over the weekend. I do not think that me or my other classmates should be penalized from not passing this class. One time I asked him to give me and example of what he was teaching and he basically said I can’t give you an example because I didn’t come prepared. I have this class Monday and Wednesday from 1-2:15. He is very unprofessional and we didn’t learn anything.
