With this petition we are formally asking the television network NBC, and the producers of Saturday Night Live to have the band Bush as a musical guest on their program Saturday Night Live. 

We believe Bush is a historic rock band, who has sold more than 10 million copies of their first four albums leaving a huge legacy for the music world. After their 10 year hiatus the band has come back with extraordinary music. On September of 2011 they the released their new album: The Sea of Memories, which debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200. Since then Bush has been on the Billboard charts of rock songs and alternative songs for 34 weeks consecutively. Their first single from The Sea Of Memories, "The Sound of Winter", made music history by becoming the first self released single ever to hit #1 on the Billboard Charts, and spent 6 weeks at #1.

They also toured successfully in the US, in addition to a sold-out international tour in 2011, furthermore they are about to go out on an arena tour with Nickelback in the US and Canada, as well as releasing their new single “Baby Come Home”.  The last time the critically acclaimed band Bush performed on Saturday Night Live was on November 23, 1996 and prior to that on December 16, 1995, for those reasons, their fans the Bush Army are petitioning to have the band return as a musical guest on the show. Gavin Rossdale has often said “he makes his audience his muse.” Well the feeling is reciprocal. He and all the extraordinary musicians that form Bush are our muse and reason for creating this petition.  Please bring Bush back as a musical guest on SNL!
