For the past few years Burntwood town council have hosted the wakes which has included the wakes unsigned, aimed at the aspiring burntwood musicians and the teenage population of Burntwood and the surrounding areas. The night in my opinion has always been a success and shows that the council consider the younger generations not just the core family. However this year they have decided to axe the unigned night which I think is a disgrace the Saturday day ( family day) event has had poor attendances for the past 2 years yet the unsigned night has always been consistant showing there is a want for this event. I am starting this petition to show the council that the youth of Burntwood want an event like the unsigned night. Please only participate if you are from Burntwood and the surrounding areas and if you do feel like you have or will benefit from the Burntwood wakes unsigned night.
