I am an elderly aged 83 and strongly believe that the way dog order is placed is confusing and ill thought.

Its unacceptable the way Dog owners are treated and in some areas , an old and disabled walkers are unable to go and enjoy their life

I don't believe a dog order is rightly placed and favour any group of beeches users. it needs fresh thinking.

I think the current rules are unbalanced and unfair to the many responsible dog walkers. I agree that putting dogs in leads on common and around ponds is a good idea. Please open up the rest of Burnham Beeches.

The public space is essential to local dog walkers and it doesn't make any sense that dogs should be kept on a lead in areas that are quiet whilst they can off lead on the common

I have walked my well behaved dogs in the beeches for many years ,I am now disgusted to be treated like a second class citizen .

I also stopped using the Beeches since they restricted dog off lead areas and the new restrictions make no sense when the main picnic area is off lead!

restricting dogs into smaller areas will cause more environmental issues. quiet times of day freer access would be better option.

It seems that the Beeches are moving to a more and more restricted area with less access; this wasn't the reason that London was asked to oversee the area.

I love walking in the Burnham Beeches woodland and find it very unfair that because I happen to own dog's that I'm treated as a second class citizen,, and my enjoyment of the natural woodland is restricted..

Although I no longer actually live in the area Burnham Beeches is very important to me. From the days when there were special excursions and buses from London bringing in thousands of people to the Beeches to today with the many restrictions on the use of the woodlands I fully support the aims of this petition. Having walked my dogs off the lead except on the common when it has lots of visitors sitting around for 30 odd years it should be common sense to all responsible dog owners when the use of a lead is necessary. I do agree with the keeping dogs out of the ponds though.

I have an old very family friendly dog and I never walk him on the lead unless I go near main roads. He is so well behaved and it is a punishment for him to be on a lead which is unnecessary. We should be able to walk freely in a park.

Currently I feel the rules regarding dogs on leads do not make much sense. We should be free to have our dogs off leads in areas where there are less people and have them on leads in busy areas such as the main common.

We walk our extremely well trained and well behaved Coker Spaniel twice every day. Usually at 7am and after 6pm and the only people we ever see are other people an the occasional keeper. The on lead dog walking areas as they stand were poorly thought out and largely pointless. I have lived in Burnham Beeches for 51 years and on no previous occasion has any dog that I have ever owned caused damage to any livestock or wildlife. My wife and I are diligent in clearing up after our dog and we cause no problems to other users of Burnham Beeches.
The current rules are completely NUTS and are in need of change.
