I have been hearing from folks all over the province about these sale rumors and honestly the frustration is just piling up higher than I thought it would. My phone has been buzzing constantly while I try to sort through all these emails so please bear with me if I am a bit slow to reply but I am reading every single one.

I honestly did not think this would gain this much steam so fast but here we are and it is wild to see people actually waking up to what is happening with the utility. Reading through the comments earlier today practically floored me because it is clear that folks really do care about keeping this public and not letting it just slip away into private hands (which would be such a nightmare for everyone involved).

This is ridiculous. Why would we even consider letting a private company take over our infrastructure? Do not sell.
NB power belongs to the people. keep your hands off it.
dont do it!! we pay enough as it is. selling it off just means bigger bills for everyone in NB. stop this now.
Keep our power public. Once its gone we lose control over the rates forever. Bad move for all of us.

Our rates are already high and this will only make things way worse for families on fixed incomes. leave it alone.
