I fully support what my husband has said. Jules Gomes is an exceptional vicar who has revived our church in Castletown

The situation is dire; quite apart from the bullying treatment of two of our best clergy, he has surrounded himself, at some expense ,with administrators who think like him; it is difficult for me to discern his pastoral qualities, a prerequisite for a bishop. I have written to him at length to express my disquiet. As an Anglican for over 80 years, I feel that I am being driven from my church, and do not know where to turn. I welcome this petition, and pray that it may lead us to a resolution of this crisis.

Rev Gomes is doing a sterling job, having turned the church around - the santuary is now crowded on Sunday AM so extra chairs have to be brought in - there is a vibrant youth ministry - Dr Gomes preaches only the Bible - sounds great to me - what is the bishop's problem?

This is most distressing for our congregation the way Canon Jules has been treated but especially the way the Bishop and Deacon are going about it!!

This has got to stop. It is not fair and it is not Christian.

I fully support ours Vicar Jules & the lengths that people the Bishop & Arch deacon are going to in order to get him out is criminal.
