While the old Lewisville school is a decent location for a Y, between demolition and access issues, the new plots by the cinema are ideal. They have wonderful access off of 503, and everyone driving by would see it and know about it.

We need kids off the street doing something useful and positive with their time. My 15 yo brother said Fentanyl is hitting the high schoolers, the runaways sleeping over by BG Walmart. There isn't much to do here. I want to see my 7 year old son having something to do with his time when he's a teenager.

Please do the full community center at the start. Doing the project in two separate sections, swim then fitness area, will only delay the need for a complete community recreation center for this growing community.

Pickleball is growing like crazy and more indoor courts are desperately needed. It would be great if the Y included dedicated courts to this sport that all ages and levels of physicality can play.
