Providing housing for current KGI students would enhance the program by leaps and bounds. Moving to Claremont was one of the most difficult challenges when enrolling at KGI. Please build this housing to support the KGI students.

The high quality education provided by the Claremont Colleges has made Claremont famous. Yet are students are not able to live in the community where they learn due to a lack of housing. Why do we need to wait years to make housing available to our students who lose valuable time commuting from surrounding areas where they can find (expensive) housing? We ask you to please support the community, KGI and the local Claremont merchants who will benefit when the students learn and shop in the community.

Our students deserve quality housing options where they have invested their talents and energy to join our academic community. Not only will it be an attractive addition for KGI and Claremont as a whole, it will help attract future prospective students, donors, and other constituents.

The lack of housing for graduate students is severely lacking. The closest housing structures within close walking distance is for senior citizens. In addition, the program attracts many international students that do not have a car to commute to school. Instilling a strong student culture on campus is vital to the success of this school. The record the commuter schools have with alumni giving is less than that of those that have housing on campus for a student. I strongly supported this project.

Housing is tight in Claremont for KGI students. This project will provide housing close to where our students study, will minimize car traffic, and boost use of Village facilities. It will make a tremendous difference in KGI's ability to recruit top graduate students. Thanks for your consideration.

I am in favor of higher education and allowing students to develop while also contributing to the local business community via business revenue and sales tax income they will add.

I stand in full support of the KGI campus housing project that is being discussed at the Claremont Architectural Commission meeting on December 14th. The project will be environmentally friendly, enhance the welcoming nature of the campus and the city, and revitalize an area that will benefit the entire company.
